Example one : music magazine/review website.

magazine-  rolling stone- used a lot of celebrities to make people want to buy the magazine. 

uses headings that would make people want to read it because it would sound interesting. 

They have merch out with their logo on it which will help them get money and it will get their brand out so they get recognized more. 

weaknesses-  front cover is not very eye catching as here is a lot of dull and dark colours and the magazine itself is quite expensive. 

the cover needs to be eye catching for people to actually want to buy and read it because the cover will pull the audience in more. 

review website- pitchfork 

the website pitchfork reviews music of different genres as soon as they're released. They add a lot of information about the musicians and they make sure everything is true. 

most websites are eye catching so it makes people interested on what there is to click on so that is what i need to do. 

example two- music video

for music videos to get out there they will need to be put all over social media so people will see it. 

weaknesses- most music videos consist of half naked men or women. 

the videos are usually set in a good scenery.

I will make sure my music video has classy/ comfortable clothes and i will make sure that the scenery is ideal for the song.

I will make sure my video gets around. youtube, Facebook, instagram, twitter etc.

A lot of music videos have good lighting and good, smooth movement and a good song and place to record so thats what i am going to do to make sure my music video is perfect enough for me.





Example three- music documentary/ blog. 


The blog page VULTURE tells you everything about music to films/ to  comedy to books etc.

It tells you things that you will want to know from the old to the new news.

It also has pages that random people have put on so you can see what people get up to.

I like the way its set because its all laid out so its clear and i also like that theres pictures and writing but not a lot of writing until the actual blog page is on then theres more writing.

I also like the fact the paraghraphs aren't that big which makes it easy to read so it makes you interested in the blog.

I am going to make my blog good to read and not loads of writing.
